The best leaders are the best followers... period! Just because someone ascends to a position of leadership does not mean that they should done following. People that have the mindset that "I'm the leader so I don't have to follow anyone." have missed the whole concept of leadership. The best leaders are always looking for ways to improve their leadership skills and that often comes from following someone who has more experience than you and/or are or have been where you want to go personally and with your team.
Let me say it again... the best leaders are the best followers!
